From those with their feet on the ground! One has only to check in with local well informed Realtors® blogs to see the signs. The Recovery Train is definitely making it's way across this vast continent and picking up fuel along the way. The harbingers of bad news would rather you did not know that The Real Estate Recovery Has Begun. They want to keep the bad news flowing and the Recovery Train Sidetracked for their own personal reasons or gains. While many are still expounding on the Real Estate Market disasters those with their feet on the ground are seeing the signs of a Real Estate Recovery. |

I took some time today to check in on some Real Estate blogs Across The United States to see what good news was out there about the Real Estate Recovery.

Kathy, thank you for the shout out AND for spreading some great real estate news from across the country - what a great blog!!!
Juli - Your welcome .....even The Toronto Globe and Mail had a positive note back on May 3rd of this year in an article "U.S. real estate recovery just needs a spark" by Tim Kiladze where he quotes hedge fund manager Bill Ackmens comment “I think the only thing missing is confidence,” ..... if consumers saw what those with their feet on the ground in the trenches every day saw perhaps that confidence will begin to show.
If showcasing some of the blog posts across the country about the things we see and have seen that precede recovery or are the first stages of recovery will help bolster that confidence it is up to us to do so.
Kathy,
I appreciate your summary of the golden areas of the real estate market. I've never heard a gold miner talk about the dirt they moved. They only report the gold they recovered. Perhaps it's because that's what they were looking for.
Best,
Steve
Hi Kathy - It is very nice to see a roundup of some positive news from our friends in the USA. I hope that Congress resolves the debt limit issue.
Kathy,
The Star still enjoys publishing bad news. It sells more papers.
Brian
Good evening Kathy,
Excellent post in getting the Good News out there!!!
Hi Kathy, Thanks to Julie's re-blog I ended up seeing your post. Great to see the Recovery Train moving across the country. Thanks for showing us down here!
Gloria
Steve - what a great analogy ..... lets stop talking about the dirt and talk about the gold
Kathy, you made my day by citing several blogs which show the real estate marketplace with a positive slant. I do not see or hear this much in most media. Thanks.
Cal
Marc - this too will pass as it has in the past there is gold out there in those blogs lets go digging
Brian - if Barrie had his way it would never darken our door
Dorie - Join the party ..... Steve has the right idea we should be like the gold miners.
Doug and Gloria - I will continue to look My goal is to find and comment on as many good news stories as I can find for the next month. ..... they are out there it is just a matter of finding them.
Cal - There you go ..... like smiling or saying Thank You good news is infectious. ..... find something positive and blog about it.
Kathy, It's nice to see that there is a recovery train moving around the country and that you have showcased some of these examples ~ And you're right, there are good news stories out there!
Great Post Kathy, we need the collective shot in the arm. I think I recognize the Uxbridge train station off Brock street
Kathy, sure would be nice to read posts across the Country having these "recovery stations" sprinkled along the way! The media always spins negativity, and it is up to US to share the good news!
Larry and Sheila - The Recovery Train is definitely travelling across the country each and every community that has a good news storey about the Real Estate Recovery adds more fuel.
Chris - I have a few in my photo collection but this one is indeed the Uxbridge Station with its very distinctive "Witches Hat" roof.
Joan - indeed it would ..... good economic news helps sell houses
HI Kathy,
Way to go and how to report the Good news that Real Estate the continent is Recovering, suggested for a feature and this is exactly what will spread the the reality that is happening all over the continent.
Peter and Linda - there is a lot of good news out there one just has to look fo it as the mainstream media seems to love the sensationalizing of the bad news
ps: thanks for the suggest
I just saw a post from Jim Frimmer about the Case-Shiller report. Something like 154 for San Diego with 100 being the baseline from January 2000. So my condo is worth 54% more than what I paid for it ten years ago. I like that!
Eric - that certainly adds weight to the fact that for the average person Real Estate is still the best investment over time
Kathy - Great post! Yes, there is indeed a real estate recovery going on across America!
☂ Kathy, cool recap of some of the nations recovery signs. I love it ~ the real estate recovery train is coming to a station near you!!! As Marti would say... Smart cookie you are!
Pamela
Barbara - and it is up to us to let it be know
Pamela- After reading your post "Real Estate Recovery? YOU BET ~ Raleigh is #1 Best Place for Business in 2011!" I would think The Recovery Train could get nicely fueled in Raleigh
Hi Kathy, You did a nice job reporting on the Recovery Train in your area, and other places too. We all know there is some GREAT News out there, but we have to hear it from the real estate agents and not the news media.
Jerry - it is likely the only place you will hear about it until they (the media) start reporting on how everone missed the boat by not buying now.
Kathy, I love the way you have shared how the Real Estate Recovery is happening across the county. Thanks for including my real estate blog post as well. Here in Prince William County Virginia we are seeing homes with SOLD signs everywhere. Good News travels fast when sellers homes go under contract in less than sixty days!
Peggy - with all the bad news that is out there and here in the rain good news just jumps right out at you the more we share it the more eyes will see it the better it will be for all.
